Hearing of the criminal case against the ex-owner of Vecherniy Bishkek Publishing House Alexander Kim completed in the Sverdlovsk District Court of Bishkek.
During the trial, the defendant’s lawyers filed a motion to drop the charges.
Coming out of the deliberation room, Judge Inara Gilyazetdinova granted the petition of the lawyers of the defendant Sergey Vorontsov and Timur Sultanov.
Thus, the criminal charges against Alexander Kim were dropped.
Recall, Alexander Kim was sentenced to six years in prison on probation with a suspended sentence of two years. The court took into account the defendant’s state of health, positive characteristics and awards. The court ruled to collect 27 million soms in favor of Alexander Ryabushkin.
In October last year, a criminal case against the former owner of Vecherniy Bishkek was sent for a new consideration.
