Kyrgyzstani Kalykul kyzy Gulzada won gold medal at Special Olympics. The State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Competitions are held in Abu Dhabi (UAE) with participation of more than 7,000 athletes from 170 countries. The program includes 24 sports. Kalykul kyzy Gulzada competed at the track and field tournament. She covered 100 meters distance for 20.1 seconds and took the first place.
As noted, athletes with intellectual disabilities compete at the Special Olympics.
