In 2018, state institutions of Kyrgyzstan spent 3.8 billion soms on food, beverages and tobacco. Report of the State Procurement Department says.
Most of the funds were reportedly spent on construction work — 16.2 billion soms.
At least 8.9 billion soms were spent on petroleum products, coal; 5.9 billion — on electrical equipment; 4.55 billion — on transport equipment; 3.8 billion — on medical equipment and personal hygiene items; 1.6 billion — on computers and office supplies and 1.2 billion — on repairs and maintenance.
