State procurement allowed to save 5.2 billion soms. Director of the State Procurement Department Nurida Baizakova told today at a press conference.
According to her, in 2018, state procurement portal held 132,906 contests for 94.3 billion soms. State institutions conducted 70,600 tenders for 39.9 billion soms, saving 2.4 billion soms.
State enterprises and companies held 8,100 contests, saving 671.4 million soms. Local government bodies saved 288.1 million soms.
At least 45,747 public announcements for tenders for 24.4 billion soms did not take place, 87,159 tenders for 69.8 billion soms were completed.
