Discussion of trade and economic cooperation, investment activities, and development of relations in the military-technical sphere is expected as a part of the visit of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan. Daniyar Imanaliev, head of the Strategic Development Policy, Economy and Finances Department of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan, told journalists.
According to him, a meeting of the Russian-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Commission was held in early March. The parties considered official documents that are expected to be signed during the state visit of the Russian leader.
In addition, within the framework of Vladimir Putin’s visit, an interregional conference is expected to take place, where it is planned to discuss trade and economic partnership, investment projects that can potentially be implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic.
«Business circles of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, representatives of financial institutions and government agencies are invited to the meetings. We expect great results from the conference, including signing of a number of documents. These are intergovernmental and interregional agreements, investment agreements in various sectors of the economy. I think that according to the results of the event we will also announce the number and directions in which investment agreements will be signed,» Daniyar Imanaliev summed up.
Recall, Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to Kyrgyzstan on March 28, 2019.
