According to him, there is a full inventory accounting of all imported and exported goods. In this case, not only the cost of the goods, but also their weight, is taken into account.
At least 607,000 tons of goods worth $ 1.7 billion were imported from China to Kyrgyzstan in 2018. At the same time, customs duties were paid in the amount of 26,650 million soms. Compared with 2017, the figure increased by 25 percent.
«We have no differences in the weight of goods with China. Data vary in value terms. We always say that there are different assessment methods. But we can not say exactly what is the reason for the discrepancy. China, citing its domestic legislation, refuses to provide data,» Altynbek Torutaev, deputy head of the State Customs Service, commented on the situation.
