Representatives of the Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan met with business representatives engaged in import of cars. The press service of the agency reported.
The meeting was reportedly devoted to changes in the terms of payment of the recycling fee in Russia, as well as changes to the conditions of customs declaration when importing vehicles. On October 29, 2023, a decree of the Government of the Russian Federation came into force on amendments to the payment of the recycling fee on vehicles imported by individuals for personal use, depending on the circumstances of import into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
«Businessmen were informed about the procedure for declaring vehicles at the rates of the single customs tariff and the unified rates (total customs payment), taking into account the changes made for the further import of these vehicles into the territory of the Russian Federation. Differences were noted between the single customs tariff rates when declaring using a goods declaration and the uniform rates when declaring using a customs receipt order,» the statement says.
The Customs Service noted that there were no changes in the conditions for customs declaration of vehicles, and warned business that work is underway to strengthen control of customs value in relation to goods imported from third countries, including vehicles.
