Currently, 198,217 smart meters have already been installed, including 122,700 in Bishkek, 64,800 — in Chui region, and 10,500 — in Talas region.
An analysis of energy consumption by households in Bakai-Ata, Kara-Zhygach, Kok-Dzhar residential areas covered by smart meters indicates that losses have decreased from 20 to 10 percent after their installation.
Smart meters for the electricity balance sheet are also installed at Severelectro high-voltage substations.
