Bishkekzelenkhoz began winter planting of coniferous saplings. Press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
Young pine trees with a closed root system were planted in Dubovy (Oak) Park, around the circus, at the intersection of Ibraimov and Bokonbaev streets.
The age of the planted trees is more than six or seven years, the height of the majority of them reaches two meters.
«Crimean pine is known for its highest gas resistance among the conifers. It also tolerates hot and dry weather. Therefore, it is ideal for landscaping busy city streets,» the city administration stressed.
