Kyrgyzstanis to have rest in first week of New Year

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev signed a decree on the transfer of days off in 2019. The Information Support Department of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

The head of government agreed with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development. The days off will be January 1-7, 2019, as well as May 9-12, 2019.

According to him:

The day off on February 25 (since February 23 falls on a weekend) is transferred to the working day on January 2;

The day off on April 8 (since April 7 falls on a weekend) is transferred to the working day on January 3;

The day off on September 2 (since August 31 falls on a weekend) is transferred to the working day on January 4;

The day off on May 6 (since May 5 falls on a weekend) is transferred to the working day on May 10.

The decree sets that December 29 will be a day off, and December 31, 2018 — working day.

Thus, Kyrgyzstanis will rest from January 1 to January 7, 2019 inclusive.
