More than 10,000 law enforcement officers will ensure security during the New Year holidays. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov said.
He took part in the garrison parade of internal affairs units involved in maintaining public order.
«Special cameras are installed in each police station, and ordinary employees are provided with body cameras. Digital technologies have been introduced to improve the safety of every citizen. Over the past two years, more than 300 units of motor vehicles have been purchased, and vehicles in every district and city department of internal affairs have been updated. At least 36 new cars were handed over to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and 50 more will arrive in the near future,» the Chairman of the Cabinet noted.
He called on law enforcement officers to do their work responsibly. «Citizens of our country should feel completely safe,» Akylbek Japarov said.
