Prime Minister expresses condolences to relatives of deceased Ulanbek Egizbaev

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev expressed his condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased journalist Ulanbek Egizbaev. The Information Support Department of the Government’s Executive Office reported.

The message of the head of the Cabinet of Ministers says that the death of Ulanbek Egizbaev is a great loss for Kyrgyz journalism.

«He was only 28 years old, he found his place in the Kyrgyz journalism. We lost him when he won the recognition of the people. Ulanbek Egizbaev was one of those, who fought against corruption, was engaged in investigative journalism. He found ordinary people and made them heroes. His short film «Today’s Duishon» won silver medal at the festival in New York. Despite his young age, he made a huge contribution to domestic journalism. Ulanbek Egizbaev left in the memory of his colleagues through his works. We lost him too early,» the Prime Minister said.

Ulanbek was one of the journalists with his civil position, a real patriot. He was the voice of Azattyk radio.
