Ex-presidents Roza Otunbayeva and Almazbek Atambayev should express their opinion on the termination of the criminal prosecution against the former Interior Minister Moldomusa Kongantiev. The former Prosecutor General Azimbek Beknazarov said at a press conference in 24.kg news agency.
He also called on the current head of state, Sooronbai Jeenbekov, to speak on this issue.
«The dismissal of the criminal case completely contradicts the principles of the April 2010 revolution. We forgot how journalists were killed, politicians and other horrible facts disappeared?» Azimbek Beknazarov asked.
He suggests Moldomusa Kongantiev to follow the example of the ex-Prosecutor General Elmurza Satybaldiev.
«Elmurza Satybaldiev has served his sentence. Now, he says with the raised head that he had received his punishment,» Azimbek Beknazarov said.
