Criminals in Osh plan to send people to hajj using fake passports

The Osh City Court passed a sentence to the defendants for forgery of documents. The court informed 24.kg news agency.

According to investigators, in 2016, three local residents, having met with a Turkish citizen and colluding with him, wanted to send 98 people to a small hajj to Saudi Arabia, using fake passports.

The criminals placed an ad about a small hajj at a low cost. Having collected 98 passports of the Kyrgyz citizens, through a travel agency, they processed visas in the Consulate of Saudi Arabia in Kyrgyzstan.

When the visas were ready, the defendants returned the passports to the owners under various pretexts. After making fake passports, they pasted in them the visas received earlier.

The men brought the fake documents to Turkey. In May 2016, the defendants gave 98 passports to Chinese citizens. They were detained while trying to send the Chinese to a small hajj to Saudi Arabia.

All three defendants were found guilty of forgery of the documents. Two of them received suspended sentences, one was sentenced to four years in prison. He was taken into custody in the courtroom.
