The Government of India has included Kyrgyzstan in the list of countries whose citizens can obtain an electronic visa. The Embassy of India reported.
It allows Kyrgyz citizens to obtain a visa to India through the Internet. After this service has become available, there is no need to go to the embassy. Applicants are advised to visit the website indianvisaonline.gov.in for visa services or for obtaining all the necessary information.
The application is submitted online no later than four days before the date of arrival. The application for a visa can be rejected, if the uploaded documents and the photo are of poor quality or do not meet the requirements.
The consular fee for Kyrgyz citizens is $ 50. A fee of 2.5 percent for a transfer from a bank card will be charged additionally at the current e-visa tariffs. Its validity is 60 days from the date of arrival to India. Electronic tourist visa and electronic business visa can not be used more than twice. Three-time visit is allowed with electronic medical visa only.
The Embassy of India will reportedly continue to provide visa services as usual, and e-visa will become an additional service.
