Kyrgyzstani Asel Sharbekova won silver medal at the Grand Prix of the South Kazakhstan region in archery. The head coach of the Kyrgyz national team Kylychbek Nurmanbetov informed 24.kg news agency.
The tournament took place from March 30 till April 5 in Shymkent city. At least 200 athletes from five countries, including athletes with experience of performing at the Olympic Games, participated in it. Eight archers represented the Kyrgyz Republic.
Asel Sharbekova performed among women and, like in 2017, took the second place.
«In May, we plan to take part in the World Championship, and in August we are going to participate in the Asian Games,» added Kulychbek Nurmanbetov.
