Equipment for 300,000 soms handed over to Kyrgyz biathletes

Biathletes of Kyrgyzstan got equipment for 300,000 soms from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany. The Embassy of Germany in Bishkek reported.

«Ambassador Monica Iversen donated ski boots and bindings as a gift to the Biathlon Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic. The equipment is intended for young athletes,» the Embassy noted. «The Biathlon Federation is actively working with young people, offering them the opportunity to spend free time. Providing such assistance, the Embassy would like to support this aspect in the work of the federation ».

As noted, the German Embassy in Bishkek supported other sports associations. These were the federations of football, swimming and gymnastics.
