The deputies of the Parliament adopted in the third reading the bill on ratification of the agreement on the Customs Code of the EEU. The document was approved yesterday at a meeting of the Parliament.
Recall, the new Customs Code of the EEU will come into force on January 1, 2018. According to it, the release time of goods will be reduced to four hours, while the standard release time, fixed in the Customs Code of the Customs Union, is more than 24 hours.
The document maximally transfers the customs control to the stage after the release of goods and allows using a number of delays in payment of customs duties.
In addition, the Customs Code of the EEU allows the use of the latest developments in the electronic design of goods and document circulation.
All 106 registered deputies of the Parliament voted for the ratification of the bill.
