Dollar rate in Kyrgyzstan falls by 40 tyiyns for week

The dollar in Kyrgyzstan began to get cheaper after almost a month. In just a week,  it lost 40 tyiyns.

Today, the capital’s exchange offices and commercial banks buy the dollar for 69.1-69.2 soms, and sell - for 69.4-69.5. Nominal rate is 69,4318 soms (a drop for a day — 0.02 percent).

Note, in spite of the fact that the exchange rate of the American currency decreases, the National Bank doesn’t conduct interventions. The last intervention of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic was on December 8. In total, in November-December, it conducted 12 interventions, selling $ 67.2 million.
