State Language Commission to teach Kyrgyz to children with help of Arab cartoons

The National Commission on the State Language has got 10 animated TV series from Saudi Arabia. This became known today at the meeting of Respublika — Ata Jurt faction.

Deputies expressed concern about the educational part of the Arab cartoons.

What can these cartoons, shot by the Arabs, teach? In general, what kind of education do we give our children? Is there really no opportunity to shoot by ourselves?

According to the Deputy Chairman of the State Commission Meder Akim uulu, the cartoons were donated. «They are educational and cognitive. One of them, for example, tells what a computer is,» he said.

Leader of the faction Ruslan Kazakbayev noted that many countries are ready to donate old animated series. «You spent 1.5 million soms on the translation of only three cartoons,» he said.

5 million soms were allocated for shooting animated production.
