Doctors from Saudi Arabia to perform free heart surgeries in Kyrgyzstan

Doctors from Saudi Arabia plan to perform free heart surgeries in Kyrgyzstan. It was announced at a meeting of the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom Ibrahim Radi Al-Radi.

According to the press center of the ministry, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the field of healthcare, construction of paramedic and midwife stations in the regions, the exchange of experience and advanced training between specialists.

The ambassador said that the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre intends to hold a campaign in Kyrgyzstan in November — to perform about 100 free heart surgeries for needy patients from low-income families.

It is expected that a team of 30 specialists will arrive in the republic for this purpose. They will bring stents and necessary medical equipment worth more than $500,000 free of charge.
