Number of trucks at Ak-Tilek checkpoint not reduce

The number of trucks at Ak-Tilek checkpoint does not decrease. The State Border Service informed 24.kg news agency.

According to the Border Service, 430 trucks have accumulated at the border, 71 of which have been previously passed. The number of heavy vehicles has also grown at Chon-Kapka checkpoint. The border guards recorded 187 cars there today.

The situation on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border became complicated on October 10. Kazakhstan has strengthened phytosanitary control. President Almazbek Atambayev described this step of the neighboring state as a blockade and promised to allocate one million som for the meals of drivers who stand in kilometer-long queues.
