Almazbek Atambayev signed a law on amendments to the law On the introduction of a moratorium on the transfer (transformation) of irrigated arable land into other categories of land and types of land. Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.
According to it, the main purpose of the document is to create conditions for the further development of the road industry in
«Taking into account the fact that the car is the main type of transport on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of the country for 2013-2017 outlines the priorities for meeting the needs of passengers and carriers, upgrading and replenishment of the fleet of vehicles, preservation and development of the road sector,» the department noted.
The adopted law makes a change in the part of the non-proliferation of the moratorium on the transfer (transformation) of irrigated lands of arable land into lands allocated for the construction and reconstruction of railways, highways and bridges, tunnels, public overhead roads.
Recall, on August 10, the president returned the law on amending some legislative acts relating to the transformation of land to Parliament with objections.
