Kyrgyzstan wants to set record for Guinness Book

Kyrgyzstan wants to set a world record for pulling up on the bar, the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports reported.

According to it, on October 14, a mobile horizontal bar 150 m long will be installed on the Old Square of Bishkek for a world record in pull-up, which will be included in the Guinness Book of Records. Men and women without age restriction can pull up.

This event is held for the first time in our country. A commission that will register the record will be created. It will be headed by the head of the international organization Street Workout and Street Lifting Denis Minin. After the event, sports equipment will be transferred to schools, universities and children’s homes of the republic.

The aim of the campaign is to raise the national spirit and patriotism, to attract young people to a healthy lifestyle. All are invited to participate. Admission is free, beginning is at 12.00. As part of the event, it is also planned to hold a flashmob for push-ups.
