National Bank of Kyrgyzstan sells gold bars for almost 470 million soms

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan sold 169 kg of gold in measured ingots for 468 million soms, the Chairman of the NB KR Tolkunbek Abdygulov said at the parliament session today.

According to him, these ingots have never been ordered from foreign countries. Kyrgyzaltyn produces them.

The project for the sale of gold bars was launched by the National Bank in May 2015.

Tolkunbek Abdygulov added that on average three collectible coins by large anniversaries are produced annually.

Deputies continue to hear the report of the NB KR for 2016. Yesterday, there was no quorum in the Parliament on the discussion of this issue.
