The 3×3 basketball (streetball) team of Kyrgyzstan took the second place at the competitions in Russia.
According to the Basketball Federation of the
Kyrgyz Republic, the national team, made up of players under 15, performed in the city of
Kazan at the 3
rd World Young Compatriots Games. «It took the first place at the group stage defeating its rivals from
Russia,
Spain,
Mongolia and
Belarus. In the finals, the guys lost 4: 7 to the hosts — the national team of Tatarstan," the Basketball Federation of the
Kyrgyz Republic noted.
