Russia to allocate money for counting of livestock

Russia will allocate 450 million soms for counting of livestock in Kyrgyzstan, the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety reported.

According to its data, the country carries out  identification of cattle. The pilot project started in Kara-Buura, Issyk-Ata and Nookat districts. It is planned to carry out full identification of great and small cattle within three years. 40 million soms have been allocated from the republic’s budget for the implementation of the project, another 450 million soms have been received from the government of the Russian Federation as assistance within the framework of Kyrgyzstan's membership in the EEU.

«The project provides for the training of 3,000 people who will carry out the formation and constant updating of the base," the department noted.
