Bishkek mayor's son-in-law approved for post of Ambassador to China

The son-in-law of the mayor of Bishkek Albek Ibraimov, Azamat Usenov, was approved by deputies for the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to China.

Information was confirmed to 24.kg news agency in the parliamentary committee on international affairs, defense and security. His candidacy was approved unanimously.

The relative of the mayor began his work as an Attache of the Consular and Legal Department of the Consular Service Department. Since January 2016, he held the position of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Azamat Usenov is married to the daughter of Albek Ibraimov.
