Kara-Suu to get €6.3 million for rehabilitation of water supply system

Parliament deputies approved in the third reading a loan agreement on Rehabilitation of the water supply and sewerage system in Kara-Suu town project.

«Significant financial resources are needed to implement measures on providing Kara-Suu town with engineering infrastructure which the mayor’s office of Kara-Suu does not have. Solution of this issue is possible at the expense of attracting foreign and domestic investment," the document says.

Taking into account the successful implementation of existing projects in the sphere of housing and communal services, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development decided to support this project. Its cost is €6.35 million.

All 116 registered deputies voted unanimously.
