Head of the ethnic, religious policy of Presidential Administration appointed

Almaz Kulmatov was appointed head of the department of ethnic, religious policy and interaction with civil society of the Presidential Administration, the Information Policy Department of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

President Almazbek Atambayev signed a decree.

Almaz Kulmatov previously served as deputy chairman of the National Commission on the State Language. The former head of the department Zaiyrbek Ergeshov was relieved of his post in November 2016.
