248 emergency situations occurred in Kyrgyzstan in 2016

248 natural and man-made emergency situations occurred in Kyrgyzstan in 2016. This was announced at a meeting of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the results of the Civil Protection for 2016 and the tasks for 2017.

According to the ministry, 47 people were killed in emergency situations in the past year.

It is reported that the republic was hit by 3, 813 fires, 2, 972 areas where natural hazards occur have been inspected.
