Situation in hit by heavy snowfalls Ak-Tash village returns to normal

Situation in Ak-Tash village of Chatkal district, which was hit by heavy snowfalls, returned back to normal. The head of Chatkal rural administration, Jalal-Abad region, Bakyt Isabekov told 24.kg news agency.

According to him, the road that connects village with the district center was opened, supply of food by private persons started.

«Snow depth in the village is 2 meters now, but the road is open, the weather is fine. There is little food, but a lot of food products will be supplied to the shops tonight," the head of the rural administration said.

State of emergency was imposed in Chatkal district on February 15, 2017, but it was canceled the next day.
