Drones used to spray apricot orchards in Batken

Modern technologies are being introduced in Batken district to protect apricot harvests, the district administration reported.

In Samarkandek rural area, orchards are being treated against pests using specialized drones. The main goal is to protect agricultural crops and increase yields.

Officials note that this method significantly saves time, ensures uniform and efficient spraying of chemicals, reduces the need for manual labor, and improves operational safety.

The Agrarian Development Department of the district urged farmers to take timely preventive measures and, if necessary, make use of orchard treatment services.
