Saudi Arabia has suspended the issuance of e-visas for citizens of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. The website of the Kingdom’s Ministry of Tourism says.
Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan have lost the opportunity to apply for an electronic tourist visa to enter this country.
Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are no longer listed among the countries whose citizens can use the online procedure.
Previously, the right to obtain e-visas intended for both tourist trips and for performing a minor pilgrimage (Umrah) under a simplified scheme was available.
It is noted that this is a temporary measure related to the Hajj season. During this period, travelers must apply for visas through the Saudi Arabian Embassies or authorized visa centers in their countries.
