Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev took part in the ceremony of handing over 40 vehicles to the district departments of the Veterinary Service, Livestock Development, Pastures and Forage under the Ministry of Agriculture. The press service of the presidential administration reported.
According to it, they were provided with LADA Niva Luxe and LADA Niva Urban vehicles.
In his speech, Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that, at the initiative of the head of state, 112 units of specialized equipment for water management worth 1 billion soms were transferred in 2024, as well as 48 official cars for the heads of district departments of agricultural development worth 83 million soms. He emphasized that this year it is planned to transfer at least 400 units of specialized equipment for the water management sector.
«The role of veterinarians in maintaining human health is extremely important. In order to prevent the spread of diseases from animals to humans, it is necessary to create appropriate conditions for the work of veterinarians. It is important that they can carry out timely treatment and preventive measures in remote pastures. We attach particular importance to the introduction of innovations, biotechnology, artificial intelligence and other modern solutions in agriculture, as well as improving the quality of life of the population,» Adylbek Kasymaliev said.
The vehicles will be distributed among the departments of the Veterinary Service, Livestock Development, Pastures and Forage in 40 districts of the country. The total cost of the purchased vehicles is 43,600 million soms.
