Law enforcers of Chui region detained a man suspected of murder of his neighbor. The press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Chui region reported.
According to the police, the body of 74-year-old man was found in a house on Esenbai Street in Ber-Bulak village, Alamedin district on October 24. The deceased was wrapped in electrical wires from head to toe, and bruises were found on his head and face. The entire room was stained with blood.
A criminal case was opened under Article 122 (murder) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The police suspect 28-year-old Sh.A. of committing the murder. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation revealed that the victim and the suspect were neighbors and had a trusting relationship. In early October, the deceased sold his house and entrusted the proceeds (about $60,000) to Sh.A. However, Sh.A. spent the money on personal needs. In order not to return the money, he decided to kill his neighbor.
The citizen has been charged with murder. The district court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for two months in the pretrial detention center No. 1.
