Unstable weather is expected in Kyrgyzstan on November 13-14 according to Hydrometeorological Service’s forecasts. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Rain and snow are forecast in most areas, and snow — in the foothills and mountainous areas. Heavy precipitations are expected during the day on November 13 in some areas of Chui, Osh and Jalal-Abad regions, and at night on November 14 — in some areas of Chui, Osh, Jalal-Abad and Issyk-Kul regions.
Fog is expected in some places. The speed of the west wind in some districts can reach 15-20 meters per second, in the western water area of Issyk-Kul Lake — up to 18-23 meters per second. Roads will be covered with ice and icy conditions are expected in the foothill and mountainous areas.
Such unstable weather will hinder work of motor transport, energy and utilities sectors, as well as keeping livestock on pastures.
Frosts of up to −1...-3 degrees Celsius are expected in the valleys of Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions on November 15-16.
Such frosts are dangerous for vegetables, dug up and uncovered potatoes.
