Kumtor Gold Company CJSC paid 10,037 billion soms to the republican budget in taxes and other payments for the first nine months of 2024. The company reported.
According to its data, the gross income tax amounted to more than 6,388 billion soms, the tax on growth of mineral resource base— 317,647 million, social security contributions exceeded 1,803 billion, other taxes and fees — 402,074 million.
In addition, the contribution to Issyk-Kul Development Fund amounted to 500,965 million soms, payments to Tenir-Too Development Fund of Naryn region reached 300,300 million, environmental payments to the Environmental Protection Agency — 27,612 million and the fee for the use of surface water resources amounted to 197 million.
The company noted that the production process at Kumtor mine does not stop for a minute, and Kumtor Gold Company itself, as a socially responsible enterprise, continues to provide assistance to socially vulnerable categories of citizens and in the implementation of projects important for the country and local communities.
