The President of Kyrgyzstan will make a working visit to Turkmenistan to participate in the international forum dedicated to the 300th anniversary of poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi. Muratbek Azymbakiev, head of the Foreign Policy Department of the presidential administration reported.
According to him, the trip was organized at the invitation of Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. On October 11, Ashgabat will host the International Forum «Interconnection of Times and Civilizations — Basis of Peace and Development», timed to the 300th anniversary of Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
«The event is expected to be attended by the heads of Central Asian states and other countries. The upcoming international forum, timed to the 300th anniversary of the Turkmen poet and philosopher, will be aimed at strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the states,» Muratbek Azymbakiev said.
