The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan announces an open competition among artists and designers to develop draft designs for collectible coins of the national currency for 2025. The bank’s website says.
The National Bank intends to issue a coin "Tushoo kesuu. Kyrgyz customs and rites" with a denomination of 10 soms (925 silver). The main plot, denomination of the coin and the inscription will be located on the front side (obverse) of the coin. The back side (reverse) of the coin should contain a continuation of the plot, the state emblem, the year of issue of the coin - 2025 and the inscription "Kyrgyz urp-adattary zhana yrym-zhyrymdary".
Another coin is "The Independent Kyrgyz Republic is 35 years old. Historical events" with a face value of 100 soms (999 gold). The front side (obverse) of the coin contains the main plot, the coin's denomination and the inscription. The back side (reverse) of the coin should contain a continuation of the plot, the state emblem, the year of issue of the coin - 2026 and the inscription "Kyrgyz Republic Uluttuk banky".
The deadline for submitting draft designs of collectible coins is December 5, 2024.
