Employees of the State Service on Drug Control detained a woman with a large quantity of potent drugs in Osh city. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The 57-year-old local resident was detained on suspicion of illegal sale of potent pharmaceutical drugs on September 19 on Lenin Street near the central market of Osh. A large batch of medicines packed in black and blue bags was confiscated from her: 80 packages (Lyrica) and 100 bottles of eye drops, the total cost of which reaches 195,000 soms.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the main goal of these measures is to prevent illegal drug trafficking and prevent pharmaceutical drug addiction among teenagers.
