Illegal equipment was found in the private educational institution Kut Bilim in Baytik village, Chui region. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
With the help of the illegal cellular gateway, two citizens facilitated the activities of a foreign communications operator that is not registered and did not have the appropriate licenses in Kyrgyzstan.
The equipment made it possible to substitute users’ identifiers and organize international connections. It was used by telephone scammers and those who left false reports of terrorism.
