Bishkek will host the Turkic States Summit on Artificial Intelligence (AI) on October 9-10, the Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The event will bring together representatives of government agencies, leading experts in the field of AI, the business community, academia and the IT community from the Turkic countries, Central Asia and around the world.
«The summit will be a unique platform for discussing the latest achievements in the field of AI, exchanging experience and developing strategies to accelerate the introduction of AI in public administration, business and social initiatives. It will be attended by representatives of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS): Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey. Turkmenistan and Hungary will have the status of observer countries,» the statement says.
The goals of the summit:
- Development of AI development strategies in the Turkic world;
- Promotion of innovation and technological progress in the OTS countries;
- Use of AI to preserve and develop Turkic languages;
- Strengthening economic and scientific-technical cooperation in the field of AI;
- Attracting investments in AI projects and startups;
- Discussion of ethical and legal issues related to the use of AI.
Government agencies will gain access to best practices for introduction of AI in public administration and will be able to strengthen international cooperation. The business community will get an opportunity to find new clients and partners, enter new markets and demonstrate their innovative AI solutions. Academia will be able to establish scientific and research partnership, as well as attract funding for their projects.
The summit will include master classes and workshops for IT developers, who will be able to improve their skills and get acquainted with the latest technologies.
