Two WWII veterans receive apartments from Bishkek City Hall

Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Dzhunushaliev visited WWII veterans Aspek Dzhumashev and Asek Urmanbetov and presented them with certificates for apartments. The press service of the municipality reported.

The housing issue of veterans had not been resolved for many years. Aibek Dzhunushaliev promised to solve this problem at a meeting with them on May 9, and coordinate it with the country’s leadership.

By decision of President Sadyr Japarov, housing was allocated to the veterans. Aspek Dzhumashev received a two-room apartment, and Asek Urmanbetov received a three-room apartment in Dzhal microdistrict.

The mayor congratulated the veterans on the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic and the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region and thanked them for the dedication and courage they showed during the Great Patriotic War.
