People’s Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, ballet master Akan Nurtazin beat up a ballet school student. The victim told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the incident occurred on May 15, 2023 in the building of the educational institution.
«The incident occurred in the reception room of the director of the Bishkek Choreographic School. He came into the reception room, where I was sitting, and started hitting me. Then I got a concussion and filed a statement to the Internal Affairs Department of Pervomaisky district. The criminal case was opened under the article «Hooliganism» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. I was unable to pass the exams because of the concussion, and I was expelled,» the student said.
The 24-year-old victim added that the Pervomaysky District Court found Akan Nurtazin guilty and sentenced him to one year in prison. However, by the same verdict dated August 15, he was amnestied and released.
