The State Mortgage Company (SMC) has provided about 9,500 mortgage loans in the amount of more than 16 billion soms through commercial banks since 2016. Deputy Chairman of SMC Tilek Dzheembaev announced at a press conference.
According to him, 4,000 loans worth 9.4 billion soms have been issued under My Home 2021-2026 program over the past three years. In total, 203,500 square meters of housing were purchased under this program.
«If from 2016 to 2020 the average mortgage loan amount was 1.1 million soms, then from 2021 to 2023 it was 3.2 million soms. Despite the increase in the average loan amount, the area of housing purchased through state mortgage remained at the same level,» the deputy head of SMC said.
Since the establishment of the SMC, 9,500 families have been provided with housing, 4,200 families of them have received housing over the past three years within the framework of the current program.
