An attempt was made to illegally import 1,600 kilograms of mutton from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan through Ken-Bulun checkpoint. The press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry reported.
The cargo was transported without observing the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the EAEU, and there were no veterinary accompanying documents.
Inspectors of the Veterinary Service returned the cargo to Kazakhstan.
