Russian State Duma deputies have drafted a bill to classify all crimes related to the organization of illegal migration as grave and especially grave crimes. TASS reported, citing Deputy Speaker Irina Yarovaya.
According to her, all authorized ministries and law enforcers will give feedback on the draft law proposed by the lawmakers within a week.
The State Duma also proposed to introduce extrajudicial blocking of websites advertising services for illegal obtaining of documents by foreigners.
Earlier, as Russian media reported, the Russian Federation plans to introduce control over compliance with migration legislation for users of digital platforms-aggregates (applications). The latter may include couriers and taxi drivers.
In early July, a police officer, who helped 588 migrants to legalize, was fined and imprisoned.
