Salaries of labour migrants increased by 23 percent in June 2024. Russian media outlet NSN reported, citing Andrey Kladov, an expert on the migration agenda and personnel recruitment, director of Migrant Service platform.
«In December 2023, the maximum salary of couriers-migrants reached 120,000 rubles. This is associated with an increasing wage race in areas suffering from a personnel shortage. Labour migrants in courier positions began to earn on par with IT specialists in entry-level and mid-level positions — about 155,000 rubles per month, while the shortage of personnel is exacerbated both in delivery services and in the IT industry,» the media outlet reports.
