Since the beginning of 2024, GDP in Kyrgyzstan has increased by 8.1 percent compared to the same period in 2023. First Deputy Chairperson of the National Statistical Committee Nazira Kerimalieva announced at a briefing.
According to her, in the period from January to June, the gross domestic product provisionally amounted to 560 billion soms.
The National Statistical Committee believes that the growth is due to an increase in the production of goods (28.8 percent), the provision of services (51.7 percent), and tax revenues (19.5 percent).
Nazira Kerimalieva added that the volume of industrial output during this period amounted to 237 billion soms.
